 In our quest to give our customers the best service and at the best prices, we decided that the only way to do this was to partner up with someone who owned planes. We have joined forces with AVSTAR who own a fleet of aircraft and who lease their aircraft to some of the major names in South Africa. We are now running our own charter flights into Zanzibar from Johannesburg starting on the 10th of June 2007. The benefits for our customers are massive, purely because we backwardly integrated the flight aspect of the package. We will be flying a Boeing 737-200 with a total of 96 pax every Sunday from 10 June - 22 July (depart back to SA on 29 July). We compared our pricing to some of our competitors and we were up to R3000 per person cheaper than some companies. Shows how greedy they are!!! We did it!!!!!!!!
We summited on the 29 September at 7:30 am. We all made it as you can see by the photo of us: from left Jacqui, myself, Craig, Tanya and Lara (in front).
We had a fantastic time. We loved every minute of it. We had a superb guide Omi, who lead us so carefully and professionally to the top. He advised us well and talked us through the days walk ahead. He took no chances and was always aware as to how we were faring and feeling. Summit night was hard as we went up in a snow storm but what a view from the top. Absolutely stunning.
The whole trip ran so smoothly. Everything was perfect and we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to you for making sure that everything was in place for us. We loved Springlands and found it to be warm and accommodating. Travelling was so easy and that took a load off our minds. My dad was in travel and I know that a lot of organisation goes into what you did for us to ensure that we had no worries. So thank you once again. You will certainly come highly recommended from the Kili Team. If we hear of any one wanting to climb Kili, we will pass on your details to them.
